Is It Baucus or Bacchus?

Bacchus was basically the Roman god of debauchery.

[sic] This plan makes me feel  like they care! But I would think expanding Medicaid, would cost more - and ‘it won’t cost a dime’?? If everyone will have ‘health care’, I don’t have to worry about anything, so I don’t care!

Baucus, and the rest looking for a pat on the back, can be the first ones to test this plan! They would shut up QUICK, if they had to participate in it. But like the gods they think they are; they seek the control and not a end to the problem!

Polls Show Football the Most Popular Sport

Polls are like checking the garbage for information, only crooks and beggars make their living off of them. The title of this post shows how misleading tracking polls are. Here is my source. Those who depend on tracking polls to justify their position have started out on the wrong foot - without principles.

Polls can gauge the temperament of the public at best; but so often it is used to shape opinion. And so many times it is misread. Take my title apart and the truth isn’t Americans think football is the most popular sport; but the most popular sport is in Poland is soccer.

The tedious thing about this issue, is that smart people have to read the garbage to get to the point of some of these articles. Others just make the whole article “the poll”; then it can be easily taken for what it is. Someonelses work!

Rep Joe Wilson Shouldn’t have Apologized.

Joe, I know you’re trying to be better than Obama (who has, as of yet, to apologise to the police officer for calling him racist,) but the apology should have gone to the House, instead of the President. It was the decorum he broke. The point he made was valid! Now, they’re threatening censuring him from the House if he doesn’t apologise.

Pelosi forgot her job and missed an opportunity to tap her gavel. Which probably cause her fit.  But as for the respect for the House of Representatives, make the apology for the outburst. Then let them know you’re not going to let them lie to the people of the United States of America!

Obama Doesn’t Know When to Keep His Big Mouth Shut!

September 11th isn’t one of them. He needs to speak out! Everyone - We do not have a president that wants to protect us. That was Bush and he’s gone now.

Obama is trying to pacify terrorists instead of standing up to them. Why would Muslims associate themselves with the terrorists? I don’t consider myself offended when skin-heads are ‘abused.’ Every country he goes to he apologizes for America. He believes that the terrorists had a right to do this and so do his supporters!

With the track record these terrorists have let’s not for one moment believe we (standing for democracy and freedom) have forced democracy on others by the threat of death, mutilation or torture! We are Americans and as long as we stand for Freedom and Justice for ALL, we are just in what we do!

Never Forget, we were not attacked because we were weak. We are attacked because we are strong! Let Obama promote that strength by encouraging others to be free like ‘W’ did! Let us promote America by standing for freedom and justice for all, not with a lot of specific laws for each group but few laws for everyone!

I don’t see Democrats Respecting the Office of the President.

‘It’s not your business’ - during the Monica Lewinsky scandal. ‘Bush is in this war for his own interests’(paraphrasing) - while fighting terrorism during the Iraq War. And how about congress standing silent while Obama lies about ‘not seeing any Republican solutions for health care reform?’

Accusations are made that when Representative Joe Wilson calls out ‘You lie!’ he shows he doesn’t have any respect for the Presidency!? I say, using the Presidency to stifle the truth shows how little respect the Democrats have for the office of the President of the United States! This is proven by Congress writing the bill, knowing that the “illegals” will no longer be illegal and hearing what Obama said last night. If Obama is a communicator, then we need to take into consideration what he says and does:

The illegals Obama speaks of, will be legal when the bill is to be enacted! So, when people hear illegals won’t be covered; people are assuming there WILL BE illegals. In this case, congress knows, as well as Obama(Biden may not), that this is the case. And when Obama is questioned on the issue, this is how he justifies what he says! It’s not that hard.

Representative Joe Wilson was right that Obama was lying. This instance was made into a semantics issue and a etiquette issue; all while distracting from the truth. I know what you say, the lies Obama tells are true if people believe them. But when our Democrat Presidents don’t respect the office they hold. What right do they have to call out others for demanding the truth!?

About Time! It’s a shame Representative Joe Wilson R-SC was right, but I think the Republicans are acting like Representatives for once! It’s a real shot in the arm. Here’s what went down.

Did you see Pelosi and Biden? Pelosi actually had a ‘conniption fit’ . She actually twitched. Biden was visually moved and changed his focus from the camera’s to Representative Wilson.

I think there were better points before this one to use this technique on. But he actually did it! Good for Rep. Joe Wilson R-SC.

If you believe President Obama will probably cover Illegal Immigrants if the Health Care bill is signed. write him and tell him, ‘You did your job as a Representative!’

Politics Ruin Any Health Care Plan

Government run health care is care that does more harm than good. So here’s a list of what is wrong with health care when any government is involved:

• Government over-manages everything.
• Government spends more money on projects than the private sector.
• Individuals must be in control of their health or they won’t choose a healthy lifestyle.
• To control expenses, some medical procedures will have to be denied.
• No law can make the Government an expert on any subject and no official will be without political influence.
• Government Health is not free.
• Doctors and Hospitals still need to administer health care.
• Doctors time will be controlled by government covered patients.
• Doctor salaries will be governed to reduce costs.
• Research will decrease because of time-restraints on current patients.
• It will cost you far more to obtain outside care than it does within a free-market system. 
• If my current insurance doesn’t cover my condition, I can only obtain government coverage, which may not cover it either.
• I will be fined if I don’t participate in the government plan.
• Politicians don’t trust the same government health care system for their family because it doesn’t work.

I’m sure they feel good providing everyone with health care; but our politicians can only moderate between parties, not run the system. We need to respect the freedoms of the American people. And not have to fight our government for the care we need. If the SCOTUS supports the private citizen over the US, what is the point of having a Supreme Court? The end won’t justify the means when you don’t know where you are going to end up! 

Don’t assume people who have large medical bills want free health care in exchange for a ‘mystery plan’ which might cover their condition. What they want is that their family is covered, they have the best doctors and they have the ability to pursue the options they need! Why do we want the government to restrict these freedoms!? This is literally Life - Liberty - Pursuit of Happiness. Politics in health care removes our God given freedoms!

Obama, Conditioning Our Kids?

Does the Obama Administration know who they’re talking to?  This speech is wrong!

It’s an unnecessarily long speech to school kids, during school! Repeated, comments that your education is important to the country. And making school the focal point of success.

He does have a good comment on asking questions:

“Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. I do that every day. Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength. It shows you have the courage to admit when you don’t know something, and to learn something new. So find an adult you trust – a parent, grandparent or teacher; a coach or counselor – and ask them to help you stay on track to meet your goals.” President Obama in ‘Back to School Event’ speech

But he claims that a school education is the only way to be successful. How many of our greatest Americans lacked a significant education?  American freedom is defined by individualism!

This may be far from an attack on individualism. But I’m not claiming he’s going to destroy our children in one fell swoop. The danger is conditioning! The subtle guidance toward a group mentality. Does anyone remember Obama’s pal, Bill Ayers?

Look at how many chants, groups and ‘flair’ was associated with his presidential campaign. This evidence is ignored by his supporters. (They just bought some Soilent Green and they like the taste!) These same people who ranted about ’support the troops and NOT the war’, ‘the individual savings accounts were going to break retirees’ or ’sub-prime lenders are destroying the economy’ had great powers of examination. Now, they couldn’t distinguish a Shasta from a Coke!

Some people are already conditioned. For the rest of us, let’s look at the speech, with open eyes. This speech isn’t meant to inspire - it has to be 20 minutes long and it basically accuses them of being failures before they have a chance to start! It would be better writing for a ‘Quit School Early’ speech! What is in there!? Government will help you learn. ‘I’m trying to get you what you need’ - paraphrasing. And you can’t make it without an education. I agree education is important, but it is ONLY the individual that makes the difference.

You may see the individual in his speech, but are you too blind to see the dependence?

Why the Truth about Health Care ‘SCREAMS’ at the Liberals - And How They Ignore It

The High costs of health care comes from spending the money from insurance premiums and hospital bills on items that aren’t necessary. The truth about the Government Health Care Bill is that is what the majority of the bill allocates the money to - Czars, Preventative Care, Hospice counselling, Government red-tape, etc. These have nothing to do with paying for surgeries or patient care. Why so many of these Liberals are hearing ’screaming’ is because they already bought this plan without looking at it. Here are the ’screaming’ truths that they are too embarrassed to hear!

1.) It costs too much! - It doesn’t matter what we are spending on other government projects, this bill is a gaping hole in the USS United States! Where as, we paid a premium to the insurance companies to be covered when we get sick and the insurance company would cover the amount we couldn’t, we are going to be our own insurance company. So, we will pay for ALL of the medical bill without having a say what coverage we get!

2.) We will not have a choice participating or not! - Yes, there is a line or to on ‘keep what you have if you wish,’ but you have to choose the Government option if your health care doesn’t meet Government standards! That’s not a choice!

3.) The quality of Health Care WILL deteriorate! - As more and more people switch to the Government option, there will be fewer and fewer supplies(doctors, medicine, beds, time, etc) per covered citizen. Doctors aren’t going to wish to keep caring for more and more patients with an increase in pay, much less with a salary cap(to keep costs down!) There will be no time for proper research, when your patient load is building minute by minute.

4.) It is the responsibility of every American to care for oneself! - Well, doesn’t that sound mean!? Maybe, but when we care for ourselves then care for others, we will be strong enough and wise enough to help others support themselves. We don’t live in the land of the kept or the helpless. Let’s not promote that kind of behaviour by removing those chances from the needy!

Bitter, bitter people resort to name calling and misleading facts to support their cause. Michael Moore, Senator Frank, Nancy Pelosi have all made money from degrading debate issues and refusing to address them by making fun of serious, concrete faults in their plans. The Liberal mindset has had a lot to swallow since Chappaquiddick. They accept their representatives nefarious actions and either have to condemn them or go along with them.

As, they raise their flags from half-staff, in honor of Ted Kennedy, maybe they can raise their standards to condemn the actions of their representatives that they themselves shouldn’t do. Ignoring wrong actions just encourage more people to participate in them.

Madville Trusts the Government

How often do you trust your life to someone who constantly takes money from you and gives you the least amount back as possible? Well, the Professor is giving John Thune ‘the business’ for suggesting you shouldn’t trust government. Then he goes on a ‘it’s Bushs’ fault’ rant making his opinion OK. I didn’t know that’s how debates were conducted, if you can’t win play the “W” card and all other arguments are moot.

Most people don’t trust anyone they don’t know personally. But there has been a rash of trust the ‘acceptable groups’ just because they are popular. Trust should be earned. Being that Obama hasn’t spent much time in Washington or really in government how are we to trust him. Then add the legislation being passed and the picks the President has gone through for his cabinet. We actually shouldn’t trust him or the congress.

What secret information does the Professor have, that we should trust this Administration or this Congress? I didn’t hear that they stopped working on Health Care Reform, but I haven’t heard any news on the progress of it!
