Did I hear Obama was going to be like Reagan?

I thought I heard someone compare him to Ronald Reagan.

Reagan’s Humor

President Ronald Wilson Reagan Inaugural Address - January 20, 1981

Is this the Insight and candor you expect from Obama?

I will be glad if President Barack Obama just swears to up hold the Constitution!

President-Elect Barack Obama is Kicking Me Off the Web!

Obama has a lot to do to get the economy back on track. Hopefully, that and his need to be thought of as infallible, will keep him out of Nationalized Healthcare.

I have had family health issues…and hopefully always will! That is part of why I fought against Obama and his policies! We can’t afford, sub-class healthcare and I don’t see us becoming rich enough to afford opting out of his proposed plan. So, to focus on taking care of my family, I will be stopping my posts.  I will try to shoot back now and then; but posting no longer helps my family.

I am getting rid of all of my debt(if interested I suggest Dave Ramsey and his Total Money Makeover), ‘clinging to God’, spending time with my family and working to ensure quality healthcare. Because if people who earn too much are penalized with taxes and doctors will start getting more patients with less benefits for the effort(less appreciative patients more often) then we are all in trouble!

Last Tuesday, we just became what every repressed country hates about us, we sold our country out for Populism!

P.S. For inspiration I suggest ‘The Reagan Diaries’, it has a majority of his daily diary writings and the audiobook has most of his famous speeches!

Todd Epp couldn’t have been closer to the Truth in his latest post.

“Yes, we can” just became “Oops, we did”

Well America, I hope you’re happy with yourself. You blissfully sit there having absolutely no idea what you just did to yourselves and your posterity. Your prosperity and your very freedom now hang in the balance, but unlike yesterday, now you don’t have any choice in the matter.

A friend of mine heard me lamenting and said to me, “Oh man, Gid! You should sit back and relax now! The world’s a better place tonight!”

I’m sure to her, it is. For someone who considers herself a “free-thinker,” it must be nice not to have to think anymore. The government will take over that duty for her in exchange for extra tax dollars.

The numb feeling is spreading to my fingers. I’ll be back as soon as I can once again type.

Congratulations President Elect Barack Obama!

I hope I’m wrong about the communism evidence as I was about the chances for Obama winning!

May we all live in Freedom and Prosperity forever!

P.S. I WASN’T wrong about McCain. He was a poor choice and he fought harder for Obama than any issue conservatives believed in. Thank God for Sarah Palin and the REAL Hope she instilled in all who let her in!

Voting Population

Posted By Guy Smylie | November 4, 2008 | 2 Comments »

I heard on ABC News that 130 million voters are expected to turn out in the United States.

The Voting Age Population of the United States is 231 million.

And those eligible to vote are 213 million.

Voters turning out by State are listed here also.

Voting Stories

Went to vote at 6:30 am. Was actually 3rd, in my precinct. By the time 7:00 rolled around, there were probably 150 people in line.

I voted and was home in about 15 minutes. My wife went to vote. The line was short for our precinct, so she was back in about 10-20 minutes.

I think everyone knows what the issues are and who they are voting for. I don’t believe that the Undecided Voters are undecided. I believe they are tired of being hounded for not supporting for Obama.  Do Obama supporters really worry when they say I’m voting Obama? I mean don’t they like being hounded by the press?

Let us know how voting went. And no matter how you voted, I hope you have a Great Day!

Twas the night before elections

Posted By Gid | November 3, 2008 | No Comments »

No clue as to the author or the source, but too good not to pass on. I might have to put this on some of my lefty friends’ blogs.

‘Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

‘ On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi’
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn’t stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

I kid you not. I found this on an official Barack Obama page.

Guy Smiley inspired me to check out B.H.O.’s website just for the sake of morbid curiosity.

Are you serious?!? Are they playing their cards so blatantly obviously? Sometimes I think America deserves what we get if we elect Obama.

And if any of you don’t know why that image should make you cringe too:

Anybody see any similarities? Anyone? Beuler? Beuler?

Change… it’s what happens when the dollar is broken down. (I should trademark that)

Paging Sen. McCain

An open question to our readers:

Is Sarah Palin the only one campaigning for our side? Every single important issue this past month has come forth from her mouth, not the good Senator’s.

Or is that a good thing? Would voters rather hear from her than from him?

Maybe I’m out of my area of expertise, but last I checked, McCain was the one running for president, not Palin. Perhaps someone should wake McCain up and tell him.

Palin for President 2012 2008 !!!

*Wonders: Is it too late to replace McCain with Romney?*
