Ha, Ha, HA, ha, Ha, Ha, HA, ha, Ha! Ha, HA, ha, Ha, Ha, HA, ha, Ha, Ha, HA, ha, Ha! Ha, HA, Ha, Ha, HA, ha, Ha, Ha, HA, ha, Ha! Ha, HA, Ha, Ha, HA, ha, Ha, Ha, HA, ha, Ha! Barack is SOOOOO funny!
Reality, of what the Nobel Peace Prize is….
‘”I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many transformative figures that have been honored by this prize,” Obama said.’ Surprised, humbled Obama awarded Nobel Peace Prize by KARL RITTER and MATT MOORE - The Associated Press
Reality….
‘This is ridiculous — embarrassing, even. I admire President Obama. I like President Obama. I voted for President Obama. But the peace prize? This is supposed to be for doing, not being — and it’s no disrespect to the president to suggest he hasn’t done much yet. Certainly not enough to justify the peace prize.’ A Nobel for a Good Two Weeks? By Ruth Marcus - The Washington Post
No effort, but given it anyway…
‘The guy has barely settled on his executive leather seat in the White House, and has only visited a few countries for a bit of the usual chit-chat that all presidents do. Now I don’t see any “extraordinary effort” in that. I mean how difficult is it to visit someone? Bill Clinton did that and even had tea with the Israeli government and thereafter walked across to Palestine and did the same with Yasser Arafat - all in a day’s work.’ Obama’s Nobel prize is just affirmative action By Abdul Milazi - Times’ LIVE
When an action explains itself all you can do is report it! Our President is a Fake!

It was premature, but what is he to do, slap them in the face and decline it? An argument that he has not accomplished enough is valid but to say he got it due to race, is, well racist. He has, after all, called for no nuclear weapons, and it seems like Russia and the US are about to announce deep cuts, but I agree, they should have waited to see what he can get done in 4 or 8 years. I mean, Clinton with his Global Initiative Or Bill Gates with improving health around the world is more deserving. Although you nuts would hate Bill getting it. Maybe more so. It’s something to live up to for Obama and there is a decent chance he will. Unlike the last guy who is a WAR CRIMINAL.
But have fun Guy, he did not deserve it, get what you can out of it because I know it makes you so happy. But if he does some good things, I’ll be back to shove it down your throat. Note: I don’t blindly (on principle) support everything concerning Obama.
October 9th, 2009 at 3:44 pm
Obama doesn’t deserve it.
Yes, he could have declined it. He would have earned respect by doing so. But he is too arrogant to do that!
Your thinking is more regressive than progressive.
October 9th, 2009 at 9:26 pm
Shows how much you understand to think he could simply turn it down. I think he will end up winning two of them. How many more is that than Bush? If there is one thing I know about you it’s that no matter what Obama does you will criticize it.
October 11th, 2009 at 10:46 am
Yes Popalot, he certainly will…it’s like one wakes up…(Guy Smylie enters the scene, saying “Here I am!”)…and one responds: “…and there you are…” (yawn). Anyway, I think the President deserves our congratulations and support…After all, it’s not every day you are elected to clean-up the biggest mess left in the World by the former Administration.

The prestige of the prize has been diminished greatly over the last few decades. Now it is meaningless.
October 12th, 2009 at 1:02 am
No its not….
October 12th, 2009 at 2:29 pm
We know people like Shakey (the right) do not respect other nations at all. Your opinion only proves it, the legislators of a whole nation gives an award and $1.4 million and it’s meaningless?
Hey, Guy have you got your two Afghan blogs drafted and ready to go yet? One, If Obama adds a few extra troops focused on training Afghans, you will say he is a wimp and does not listen to his great generals.
The other, if he adds 40,000 and takes the fight throughout the country you will say it’s his never ending Vietnam and he is needlessly risking your young soldiers.
I can hardly wait for which ever one you go with for your next anti-Obama rant. Why don’t you do something useful for a change and tell us what you would do in Afghanistan. Are you a cut and run guy?
October 13th, 2009 at 7:46 am
The Nobel Peace Prize is great, if you agree peace doesn’t have anyhing to do with Iran, Korea, the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Sudan, etc. etc. Obama is getting the peace award for making kittens play nice with each other. Within your line of thinking those that voted for Obama should get the Peace Prize, but I’m sure you haven’t thought that far.
shakey jake, It certainly has. They can’t even grasp what peace is, from their Ivory Tower.
Popalot, I’m not President and don’t have access to the data on the ground. But I think Bush would have done something by now.
And as soon as Obama stops making mistakes I’ll stop criticizing. My best posts always have someone crying “LEAVE HIM ALONE!…booo-hoo-hoo, WHY DON’T YOU JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE!”
Instead of taking the criticizm, why don’t you find out where I’m coming from and tell me why I’m wrong for thinking it!?
(yes, yes I know I’m too dumb to listen, but are you too dumb to learn?)
October 13th, 2009 at 12:47 pm
“But I think Bush would have done something by now.”
Ha ha.
Bush was the guy that ignored it for 7 years, took off to left field when success might have been possible. Now it’s a huge mess. Soon he will lay down what he is going to do. Which at this point there is no good solution. Thanks Bush, thanks. You talk about Obama making mistakes? Like Obama going to Copenhagen vs Bush prosecuting illegal wars and breaking international law. So equal.
October 13th, 2009 at 1:09 pm
We were in Afganistan within a month of the Sept. 11th attacks and we’ve been in there since. Your information is biased!
The war in Iraq wasn’t illegal and was approved by congress. Where are your facts!?
October 13th, 2009 at 7:50 pm
Guy, It’s because you always seem to be upset. You get so testy over others disagreeing with you. One can easily tell that the President continues to get inside your head. Face it Mr. Smylie, you are obsessed with Barack Obama. LMAO..ha, ha…
October 13th, 2009 at 10:17 pm
I get upset with false logic and facts. And it upsets me to see so many people fooled by a speaker who has only served his interests in the office of the United States Presidency.
October 13th, 2009 at 10:27 pm
Gee Guy, Bush was in Afghanistan within a month and then for the most part left a caretaker force behind to babysit. Big Mistake.
Iraq was not Illegal? You know, just because congress was duped by a switch and bait does not make a war legal. The head of the UN said it was illegal. The international norms and laws say it was illegal. And I would point out with great pride, Canada went to Afghanistan on day one and are still there. We did not TOUCH Iraq, there is a reason you know.
October 13th, 2009 at 11:25 pm
Iraq was not Illegal!
The United States doesn’t wait on the UN. The head of the UN was corrupt and most people know that. And the threats and abusive nature of the Iraqi government called for action. The UN’s weapons inspectors were a joke! And the time that they took with the inspections Sadam could have moved whatever he wanted.
I know, the reason is that you live by the UN and call the actions illegal. So is Obama, breaking the law then? Or is the stabilization of the country worth the lives of the Iraqi citizens and their democracy!?
October 14th, 2009 at 1:13 am
This is the sort of thing that gets you into so much trouble, I mean as a person living in this world seen by others in this world. Let me ask you, do you have any respect for INTERNATIONAL LAW, or are you a pariah state?
Do you think America gets to do what it wants because it’s America? That you were all just doing what you were ordered to do like a bunch of Germans we know, or are there some rules you have to go by? It’s telling you don’t sign on to the World Court.
Obama will in his second term.
Don’t take the word of Annan, how about experts on this stuff? It’s called research and facts, please read.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article6917.htm
Finding:
Three Conclusions: It is the overwhelming consensus of the world’s foremost international law experts that: (1) UN Secretary General Annan’s opinion is correct (i.e., true) because the Iraq War was, indeed, illegal; and…
The inspectors were a joke? Why, because they found the nothing to be found? Or Sadam moved it and you actually still think there were WMD?
At this time the legal government of Iraq has an agreement to have US troops within it’s borders. Afghanistan was a legal war. So your point about anyone thinking Obama doing something, and it could be illegal, is utterly ridiculous. Enough with the false equivalency, Bush was rotten, Clinton was not and Obama is not. Understand? Reagan borrowed to get a good economy and Bush I was ho hum, but none of them were failures of historic proportions. You may not but your kids kids will know it.
October 14th, 2009 at 8:22 am
Guy, you are still getting upset over nothing. Life is too short to waste your time with matters you have no control over or can not change…
October 14th, 2009 at 10:33 am
Popalot, A country can’t be run through the UN. The UN is a meeting place for nations, not the head of a world order. If it is then we need to get out! Kofi Annan was a corrupt individual, who supported dictators who had no respect for individual rights, much less their freedoms. ‘Oil for Food??’ Don’t preach to me about justice, when you support oppression!
October 14th, 2009 at 10:48 am
Guy, Popalot does not support “oppression.” Don’t be ridiculous and stop hyperventalating over all of this nothingness. lol breath…slowly…
October 14th, 2009 at 12:31 pm
No, he supports puppies and kitties. He has no ability to think outside the confines of Michael Moore types. The audacity of him telling the US to be under the controls of the United Nations is oppresive by definition!
Mac, Just because it’s so hard for you to understand, doesn’t mean I’m upset. I can sweat in a blizzard. THIS is nothing to sweat about.
October 14th, 2009 at 4:19 pm
From SNL comedians to newspaper columnists to gay rights activists, liberal commentators have been portraying Obama as a do-nothing ‘whiner-in-chief.
October 14th, 2009 at 4:38 pm
Hey Guy, I quoted a study of international lawyers, not the UN. This is what you do all the time, post your thoughts that have NOTHING to do with the point I’m making. Which was, International law says it was illegal. Who says? International lawyers who are experts in international law. So why are you talking about the UN and accusing me that nations should be run by it? You are crazy man. Just insane.
October 15th, 2009 at 7:34 am
Guy, well, than quit sweating then…you gotta walk the walk instead of just talk the talk…lol
