Obama, Conditioning Our Kids?

Posted By Guy Smylie | September 8, 2009

Does the Obama Administration know who they’re talking to?  This speech is wrong!

It’s an unnecessarily long speech to school kids, during school! Repeated, comments that your education is important to the country. And making school the focal point of success.

He does have a good comment on asking questions:

“Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. I do that every day. Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength. It shows you have the courage to admit when you don’t know something, and to learn something new. So find an adult you trust – a parent, grandparent or teacher; a coach or counselor – and ask them to help you stay on track to meet your goals.” President Obama in ‘Back to School Event’ speech

But he claims that a school education is the only way to be successful. How many of our greatest Americans lacked a significant education?  American freedom is defined by individualism!

This may be far from an attack on individualism. But I’m not claiming he’s going to destroy our children in one fell swoop. The danger is conditioning! The subtle guidance toward a group mentality. Does anyone remember Obama’s pal, Bill Ayers?

Look at how many chants, groups and ‘flair’ was associated with his presidential campaign. This evidence is ignored by his supporters. (They just bought some Soilent Green and they like the taste!) These same people who ranted about ’support the troops and NOT the war’, ‘the individual savings accounts were going to break retirees’ or ’sub-prime lenders are destroying the economy’ had great powers of examination. Now, they couldn’t distinguish a Shasta from a Coke!

Some people are already conditioned. For the rest of us, let’s look at the speech, with open eyes. This speech isn’t meant to inspire - it has to be 20 minutes long and it basically accuses them of being failures before they have a chance to start! It would be better writing for a ‘Quit School Early’ speech! What is in there!? Government will help you learn. ‘I’m trying to get you what you need’ - paraphrasing. And you can’t make it without an education. I agree education is important, but it is ONLY the individual that makes the difference.

You may see the individual in his speech, but are you too blind to see the dependence?

You are not smart enough to know what to hang your hats on.
An argument can be made that a Public Option will be so darn good more and more people will demand (of their own accord) to be in it and eventually little will be left for private insurers. One could be against that on the basis that you feel government has no business helping people, it’s only there to create the conditions in which people can help themselves. That’s an understandable argument, based on principle, and the fact you are heartless and greedy. But to make a stink about this President speaking to kids when former Republican presidents made the case (in identical direct video addresses) that lowering taxes was going to create jobs seems a bit hypocritical. Okay, hugely hypocritical. They were selling their policies to the little minds. Where were you then? Did you scream about that? I bet not.

I see you have a link to SD Shovel’s story, “Seig Heil to The One?”

Where they point out the “neo-Boshevik style poster art” means something, of course. And fans of Obama see him as a “Fuhrer-figure”.

So what does it mean when you fine folk use the clenched left fist of communist workers and militant socialists. Mean nothing when you use that style, right?

And now that I see this site linking to the Nazi stuff, I understand you better. Thank you.

So, you are too blind to examine Barack Obama.

Oh, to look closely at Obama is to understand that he is Hitler. Hey everyone, Guy is a complete mental case.

I don’t care what you think of him after you examine him, but maybe you should try looking into it!
I encourage thought. Popalot, you encourage blind obedience. That’s where people get Nazi from! But I’m sure you have an excuse for that too.

I bet I know more about Obama than you do. I mean truthful things. I bet I know more about Bill Ayers than you do, or his former pastor.

And after what you people tried to do to Obama on that I would not be surprised if he did not finding a church to attend until after he is out of office.

I bet you are OK with what Wright and Ayers have done. I wouldn’t be surprised if you know them personally. BTW, I can see how your truthful words have just the right amount of errors in it! Intentional??? It doesn’t matter. They’re still false.

So, church to Obama, is something to wear on his sleave!? Most people go to church for guidance and fellowship. 20 years??
