Moscow Laughs at Obama

Posted By Guy Smylie | July 7, 2009

Obamas glam isn’t working. While visiting Moscow, Obama met with President Medvedev and Prime Minister Putin to impress them. However, the Moscow Times got information that Putin was hardly impressed.

When Obama replied, he misspoke Putin’s title.

“I am aware of not only extraordinary work that you’ve done on behalf of the Russian people in your previous role as prime minister … er … as president, but in you present role as prime minister,” he said….

…He sought to downplay the mistakes. “I don’t think it’s Freudian,” Obama said. “He used to be president.”… Read it here.

Obama said in the interview, “I think Putin has one foot in the old ways of doing business and one foot in the new.”

Putin responded quickly. “We don’t know how to stand so awkwardly with our legs apart,” he said in televised remarks. “We stand solidly on our own two feet and always look into the future.”

Putin suggests that he is in the past and always looking into the future, that’s their only option. My impression is Prime Minister Vlad was quite happy to be able to get so close to an American President. Move over Monica Lewinsky, there’s a real threat in the White House. If this proves anything, it proves we may have a likable President but we don’t have a sharp one.

I hope Obama didn’t accept any Ipods from Putin!

Well, at least President Obama has not quit because of all the attacks on him. He gets picked on by you guys on the Rabid Right…but, you do not see him cutting and running.

I found this article in Moscow, Moscow…the Press couldn’t even get Bushs ‘there’s no French word for entrepreneur’ joke without calling him an idiot.
Your logic is faulty and insidious. When special interests are sent to attack Sasha and Marsha or whatever her name is and the press joins in then we’ll talk about “attacks on Obama.” Is that a deal?

Actions speak louder than words Guy and you know it as well as the Princess from Wasilla who said just the other day: “I am NOT a QUITTER!!!!” …of course she said this after she quit once again in a long resume of not finishing what she starts.

and may I add, that the Princess from Wasilla is good at not quitting one thing: and that is to whine, complain, and blame everyone else for her failures, which is a becomming a common theme for you guys and I thought “true” Conservatives were stronger than this….lol

If actions speak louder than words..why don’t you ever take a look at Obama’s?
Or do you just enjoy being used, ignored and then re-used as you crawl back for more. Wow, I think I answered my own question.
