Green Tea!

Posted By Guy Smylie | April 23, 2009

I wasn’t able to make it to the Tea Party, because I had to work. But I really didn’t notice any Earth Day activities, this last week. I would suppose the loyal mush heads went to the bar and had a drink in honor of the ‘holiday’. The news had a few stories on it though. Moreso than the Tea Parties. Like swimming polar bears who were actually ‘drowning’. Days that were warmer than others. And trees that were unable to grow in the desert. Lots of invisible pollutants that cause horrible weather anomalies quite similar to the pleasant day ones.

I believe garbage should be kept off of the ground and recyclable materials should be recycled as much as possible. It’s probably the conservative nature in me. But here is the problem, the amount of suckers falling for Al “Chicken Little” Gores’ half-baked society of earth spinners is scary and embarrassing! Then intelligent citizens protest excessive taxation; and THAT is belittled and ridiculed.

I was always giving the media a little credit, thinking they probably don’t mean to be bias. But they are and they do! I have no doubt now. They are clouding the waters and keeping the misinformed, misinformed.

Truth is stranger than fiction, my friends and the truth is VERY strange!

I think it’s alot of hype about nothing really. Spending has been out of control for many Presidencies, including your hero Bush. So, what’s new, besides ranting and raving about how you don’t like the new President. We get it and frankly, who really cares. Not many.

Good day and have fun with your little tea party!
    LOL

Spending in THIS administration has been greater than all the others combined.

If you don’t get it, I don’t think you can.

Guy, you conveniently forgot the past 8 years of massive, massive tax cuts backed up with increased spending by the past Administration. We went from a surplus to the hugest debt in U.S. History before the current President took office. Now, come on…do not tell me that you actually forgot that! LOL

The massive tax cuts created actual wealth. Where as Obama’s tax increases and behemoth spending is causing everyones pocketbook to pucker up.
And also, Carter and Clintons programs making banks lend to the underqualified “needy” didn’t create any wealth when the loans weren’t repaid. I’m sure you know that. But it doesn’t look like you took actual financial principles into consideration. Can you say 9-11-01..I knew you could.
What I find offensive is someone trying to make everyone else pay for their low self-worth, when they won’t even take the time to figure simple things like this out for themselves.
