Support Conservative Thought!
Today I heard Obama sent a letter of negotiation to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. In it he may have offered the nuclear defense shield in Northern Europe in exchange for the Russians forcing Iran to stop producing nuclear weapons. I think this action would encourage Russia and Iran to take action against us. We are not weak but we don’t need to look weak. And we are not, NOT running a humanitarian organization! This is a Great Country and will be until we are beaten down into the ground and forget that God has placed us here!
So I ask everyone to support Conservative thinking.
Do NOT squelch it! Take the time to express your corrections and be open to new ways to support Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Do NOT squelch Democrats/Liberals thinking conservative! Because it is not in their heart to be self-destructive. And we as Americans are not against supporting our neighbors; ONLY against supporting our neighbors self interests at the EXPENSE of others!
As a Conservative, I promise I am NOT supporting anyone or anything that wishes control or oppression on another group or person!
As a Conservative, I promise I want YOU, whoever you are, to be the BEST you can be, as long as you don’t control or oppress anyone!
For this I want your support! So go out and support those people who stand up for others. Support those who are making an effort to be a better individual. Because a good group of individuals always start out with one!

I wish there were some place where progressives (like me) and conservatives could carry on converstations expressing different points of view without screaming nonsense and jingoism at one another.
It’s too bad, because without honest discourse, as opposed to shouting talking points at each other, neither’s ideas can be evolved.
Pity.

I believe progressives have some strengths like being able to see creatively. They also have downfalls like looking for change, only to change things.
Either way if you want to carry on conversations like Americans we need to be willing to play by the rules. Those rules are clearly described in the founding documents. If you have read them, re-read them you may have forgotten some of the information in them.

“Honest discourse” to a liberal is allowing only that with which they agree to not be shouted down.

I think most people have conservative thought. I mean who wants to spend all of their money on beer and pizza just because it tastes good. Or give away your childrens inheritance to buy bandages for AIDS patients.
Most people want to take care of their household so they can treat themselves once and a while. They want to cure disease so that bandages won’t be necessary!
The plans presented from liberals have been proven ineffective and are still tried. Why then are we considered inept, when the cure is long and difficult!?
