President Obama/ The Wizard of Oz?
Barrack Obama is giving everyone what they ask for except for the Wicked Witches, the Flying Monkeys and the Guardsmen. And what he’s giving them is as superficial and existential as the dream world where the land of Oz resides. At this point, he is doing this, so he feels loved by those who elected him. But soon he will take his balloon to Camp David and leave ‘main street America’ behind. Leaving the glossy eyed do-gooders clicking their heals until they wake up.
That would make US the witches, monkeys and goons.
The Mainstream Media has always placed Limbaugh and others in this category. Good enough! I can’t get far enough on the other side of these issues! But as ’The Wizard’ says, even though, we should ALL work together, some people shouldn’t be listened to. Or some ‘witches’ should have water poured on them. Boldly, he is acting like this kind of thinking works. Let’s ask Hitler how shutting people away worked for him!? (I’m not calling Obama Hitler - you know, there was a time people stopped comparing Hitler to Genghis Khan) There will always be freedom loving people - even if they don’t live “in the land of the free”!
In “The Wizard of Oz” I always thought the wizard was drunk with power and he couldn’t stand being seen for what he really was. He gave things to people they already had and still received credit for it. Then he left everyone behind. For a guy preaching about executives spending too much, Americans not paying enough taxes and treating people with respect, I have to wonder in what land President Obama thinks he lives. Because he certainly doesn’t participate in ours!

Thanks for taking the time to keep this site going.
We really do need alternatives to some of the print media moguls, who have expanded into electronic media.
They seem to be earning money in cyberspace, but it seems they have carried their leftist political bias with them.
I get about one blog out of seven published in our Western South Dakota’s largest publication owned by Lee Enterprises.
From all the off-topic and poorly written blogs I read from the aforementioned media, I really do believe that conservative thought is withheld from the public.
Thanks for your service. Could you turn the Wingnuts site into a moneymaker? I’d like to help before the Obama’ites make their censorship into law.

Most in the major media (not blogs) have been saying “Socialism and Obama” in the same breath. Then they mostly drop the moniker and pose the questions of “could we really be going into Socialism?”
It looks, to me at least, that this statement linking Obama and Socialism then switching to a question is a very simple “bait & switch” tactic. It’s meant to obfuscate and lead the reader.
This tends to con the recipient of the message into thinking well, it must not be so bad because someone just said “Socialism” on major media and the world didn’t fall apart, so we must not have a problem.We have a problem.
Our fearless leader Obama is following Socialist dogma to the letter and now is getting ready to nationalize the banks.
About all that is left to do for the Wizard Obama is to start the disarming of the general population so the killing can start. This is historic in all Socialist revolutions from, Stalin, to Hitler,to Mao, to Pol Pot, and a number of present third world countries. It’s so ironic that those who use “Hitler” who led the National Socialist party (Nazi)as their focus for organizing, are part and parcel National Socialists.
But, then again, the major media will not say “Obama or National Socialist) in the same breath.
So, what are we to do? I think it’s futile and immature to snivel about the situation and wait for Big Brother (the Wizard Obama) to save our lives and culture. Big Brother’s coming, but it’s not to help us.

The ultra-conservative Bush/Cheney reign is over.
The deregulated, tax-cuts for the rich, trickle-down nonsense did not work. George W Bush left office with a national debt larger than all of the previous administrations combined and an economic system that is circling the drain.
And yet, conservatives want to keep marching over the cliff shouting “tax cuts! Deregulation! tax cuts! Deregulation!”
NOBODY, including Obama, wants a totally socialist society here in America.
But SOME things have to be paid for with taxes.
Roads, bridges, sewer, police, fire departments, schools, air-traffic control, etc.
All of these have been allowed to atrophy under the previous administration.
Conservatives would have poor people pay for these so that Rush Limbaugh won’t have to — even though Rush makes $33 million dollars A YEAR.
Poor Rush - the 4% increase in his taxes - it just makes me want to CRY for him.
I can’t understand why conservatives think a 4% increase in Paris Hilton’s taxes equates in any way to “National Socialism.”

The problem is the values that failed weren’t conservative! They were Bail-out/Stimulous packages. Lending to people who weren’t going to pay them back(an actual Liberal policy - house everyone so we look good.) Printing money to cover-up mistakes. And paying off special interests and lobbyists.
If you think the poor have been paying all the taxes. 20% of nothing is what?
