Voting Stories

Posted By Guy Smylie | November 4, 2008

Went to vote at 6:30 am. Was actually 3rd, in my precinct. By the time 7:00 rolled around, there were probably 150 people in line.

I voted and was home in about 15 minutes. My wife went to vote. The line was short for our precinct, so she was back in about 10-20 minutes.

I think everyone knows what the issues are and who they are voting for. I don’t believe that the Undecided Voters are undecided. I believe they are tired of being hounded for not supporting for Obama.  Do Obama supporters really worry when they say I’m voting Obama? I mean don’t they like being hounded by the press?

Let us know how voting went. And no matter how you voted, I hope you have a Great Day!

Voting was downright scary for me. First I almost tripped on the way to the mailbox, and then I just about got a paper cut opening the envelope. Much to my surprise, there was no marking pencil included, so I had to dig in my dangerous drawer to find a #2 pencil. I was tempted to just give in and use a magic marker, but I knew the fate of the free world was in my hands. The scariest thing about the entire voting process was spending almost half a dollar for a stamp to mail it! For someone who’s used to mailing with 1’s and 0’s instead of the Postal Service, that’s a whole new ballgame.

Nope. The lefty victim mentality still doesn’t work for me. Sorry to disappoint. ;-)

Gid. We knew you were sort of helpless with these things. Now we know for sure. You dont measure up to craig teiszen (running for senate) who was in the peace corp at the time. and spent 13.00 to send his ballot from africa to america to vote for mcgovern. My god, what a waste of 13.00. and a waste of a vote. Sort of like voting for Johnson.

Mondak - since you are voting for change, I am guess that means you voted for Dykstra and Lien too.
