Obama Won; McCain Lost.

Editorial(Just so there’s no misunderstanding):

Obama has little experience in political leadership. Community experience, yes! A Good Speaker, yes! Political experience, a little. But no political leadership. Heck, he held the Freshman US Senate seat for his state. People voted for him on his platform - Change.

McCain has Uber experience in political leadership. He has the classic presidential experience(excluding the gubernatorial.) He is a war veteran. He has a long Senate record, which he is infamous for crossing party lines and creating legislation with the party leaders. If McCain is anything, he is a moderate.

Barack Obama’s message has always been pointing out the failures of the current administration and offering a different option. He has always shown himself as an original thinker and an excellent public speaker. The reason to vote for him was a ‘change’ of the current administration.

John McCain’s message was ‘you know me’. He then told you what he was: a POW, a Moderate Senator, a Fair Play kind-a-guy(He more than once apologized to Obama and reprimanded his constituents for comments on Barack, he thought, were unfair.) His only play to conservatism was Sarah Palin, which doubled his poll numbers and allowed him a chance at the presidency.

Now, Election day comes around. If you had to make a choice between ‘the first African American President’ and ‘an Old Vietnam Veteran’ the response would have to be ‘why not take the opportunity to show the whole world that All Men Are Created Equal?’ If Only…  I know that people voted this way, but those votes were few.

Progressives will always vote for change even if what they have works. They are driven by a need to contribute new ideas into the system and a rebellious nature. The democrats will vote democrat, as republicans will vote republican. Independents vote for the candidate who gives them the most of their favorite issues. But conservatives needed to make a considerable choice.

The choice conservatives had to make was:

1.  Do we vote for a moderate to keep someone out-of-office, because all we do know about Obama is his friends are anti-American?

Or

2. Do we want a moderate President that will dump all his failures on conservatism?

Sarah Palin showed voters John McCain knew what conservatives wanted. John ended up showing he didn’t care what conservatives wanted. Because as much as Dick Cheney did for America and this administration, he was never President; and Sarah Palin would have been nothing more than a scape-goat!

Obama won because he was new and articulate. But McCain lost because he tried to be everything to everyone and showed everyone something they didn’t want.

But good news Conservatives, we won also! We saw that our principles inspire people! We found proof of who the RiNO’s are (Colin Powell, Larry Pressler, RFO, etc.) We got the chaff separated from the wheat and we should document that information, so we don’t allow these people to represent us as conservatives, anymore.

As a Christian, I will pray for Obama as our President. I will also support him when he makes good decisions and I will be a patriot by objecting to policies that are against American principles. I also have the luxury of working against John McCains screwball policies when the opportunity arises.

There are many reasons to be afraid, but there is no excuse NOT to be Brave!
