A glance into the dungeon: The blogger room at the AFP summit

Well, I guess I’m officially famous now. Someone else put me on YouTube. That’s right… I didn’t have to do it myself!
This is pretty cool, actually. For those of you who were curious as to what the notorious/infamous blogger room looks like, here it is in all its glory.

Clarification: For those of you [...]

Photos from the AFP Summit

As I was packing at 5 a.m. Thursday, I realized my camera was nowhere to be found. I had the choice to keep searching for it, or make it to my flight on time. I chose the latter.
So to make a long story short, these photos are all from my BlackBerry. I’m pretty impressed by [...]

Barnes: Election is not over. Someone tell McCain!

For someone who isn’t even here, Sarah Palin is certainly the star of the Defending the American Dream Summit today. Whereas last night’s dinner officially focused on Ronald Reagan, today’s session feels like it is dedicated to Sarah Barracuda.
Maybe if we all concentrate really hard, she will appear in a Obi-Wan-Kenobi-esque hologram. I’m pretty sure [...]

Nacho average midnight snack!

Perhaps it’s my near-ravenous level of hunger.
Perhaps it’s being able to get something to eat well after midnight without leaving the hotel.
Perhaps it’s because I paid eight bucks for a snack, three bucks for a soft drink and two-fifty for a tip.
Perhaps it’s a combination of all three. Or maybe these really [...]

FOX News picks up on the AFP rally

In the “B-Roll”, a/k/a the footage taken of the rally, I’m standing just to the right of the podium, over the speaker’s left (our right) shoulder. I’m the big geeky-lookin kid (thanks again, Napoli) wearing a black shirt and sporting a beard.
Without further ado, here’s the video:

Johnson / Herseth-Sandlin Voted Against ‘Rescue Bill’ for Wrong Reasons.

I heard on KSOO today, Tim Johnson said paraphrasing ‘there weren’t enough regulations in the “Rescue Bill”.’ Oddly enough, he had the power to place the restrictions on those failing entities, before they failed.
Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin said basically, ‘It was created too quickly…it wasn’t done right…and it gives too much power to the Secretary of [...]

Activists headed to Capitol Hill

Hey Wingnuts,
Sorry for the last-minute update, but a bunch of us from the Defending the American Dream Summit are going up to Capitol Hill to stage a rally protesting big government, and more specifically the bailout.
Watch for us on your favorite cable network around 12:30 Mountain Time. We’re tring to get about 1,000 folks there, [...]

Obama, Enough of this ‘I Forgot’ blather!

“This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew” - Barack Obama
‘Spokespeople for Obama and Auchi say neither recalls meeting the other.’ - Jake Tapper, ABC News
“I may not know him as well as I thought either” - Obama said of Rev Wright.
‘Barack Obama Never Organized with ACORN’ - FighttheSmears.com        Is Obama forgetful?
Barack Obama is a politician who doesn’t want [...]

Obama Humor

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher who’s hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually, the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our president.
The old rancher said, ‘Well, ya know, Obama is [...]

Thank You , Steve Jarding! Nobody WANTS to hear Senator Johnson Talk.

Isn’t it GREAT, Steve Jarding is doing all the talking for Tim Johnson! I mean, I’ve heard the few attempts Johnson has made to do interviews and I’m GLAD I don’t have to figure out what he’s trying to say. It’s sad and confusing.
There isn’t anything Johnson could say that would help the Senator keep his [...]
