Barack IS Winning? How ’bout We Vote Anyway! Hmmm?

Posted By Guy Smylie | October 24, 2008

I thought the election wasn’t until November 4th.  I have seen the poll numbers in favor of Obama, but there are only 3 people that I’ve heard say they are voting for him, outside of the web; compared to 6 that I’ve heard say they are voting for McCain. But the majority doesn’t want to say one way or the other for fear of retribution. And pundits say the Bradley Effect has no relevance!?!

If Obama’s resume had something you could promote, he’d have a better foothold. What he has is $605 million of propaganda. Some policies liberals have pushed for a long time. And a talent for reading speeches. Where is Obama spending $605 million dollars that he needs more? Sounds like someone who knows how to waste money!

McCain has a long resume which is available for perusal. He has held himself to the principles he fought for in the McCain-Feingold Act, and is trying to bring more reform to government, not just Change. Also he shows he will work in Government to fix problems.

It is a shame that people are actually considering a winner at this time. Someone who is ahead in the polls, that’s great! But when you suggest a winner, you may also encourage people not to participate. I don’t need to vote my guy’s winning. It doesn’t pay to vote my guy’s losing. Let’s be adults here. And everybody get out and vote!

Here’s something I’ve heard many times in the last 5 years. Everyone should read it!

I Do Not Choose to Be a Common Man

It is my right to be uncommon—if I can.

I seek opportunity—not security. I do not wish to be a kept

citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after

me.

I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to

fail and to succeed.

I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the

challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of

fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia.

I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for

a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend

to any threat.

It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid; to

think and act for myself, enjoy the benefit of my creations

and to face the world boldly and say, “This I have done.”

Well, I’m voting for Obama myself. John McCain doesn’t have a plan and does not show me that he is capable of fulfilling the responsibilities that the office of the Presidency entails. I wonder if that makes me “Anti-American” in the eyes of some. Somehow, I don’t really care if it does!

–From a “Pro-American,” who some think is an “Anti-American” living in an “Anti-American” section of an “Pro-American” city of an “Anti-American county of a “Pro-American” state.

Mondak, Why do you need to Vote for Obama? He’s already won and is writing his Inauguration Speech, Planning his Celebration Party and Changing the History. What does he need YOU for?

    Answer me THAT question!?

I don’t know what “kinda” President Karl Marx would be “proud of” as you state, since he’s been dead for along time. LOL…Have a great day, this “Marxist” is going over to Starbucks for a latte to satisfy his “Closet Liberal” cravings…

It was bad trying to get Communism out of our country!?
I know we’re a Country based on Freedom, but I still don’t see Communism as an ALL inclusive Club!
Letting Communism influence our policies is very dangerous; and THAT is what Senator Joe McCarthy knew! I guess his weakness was Freedom…otherwise there would have been a few less communists in the country, back then.

Yeah, I know it’s ‘kinda’ hard to think or maybe it just makes your head hurt!?

Is there anything WRONG with deciding this election by voting? Mondak

Because, I don’t see any of your team, relying on the vote tally. Just like in the last 2 Presidential Elections.
