Stop Turning on Sarah Palin, GOP!
If Sarah Palin’s few gaffs are reason for her to drop out of the race…Don’t Obama’s daily gaffs make him unfit to be President?
You heard of Troopergate….Have you heard of Freddie- or Fannie-gate?
You’ve heard that Todd Palin had a DWI when he was 21…..Did you ever hear him suggest that he hated America for it?
Sarah Palin has been accused of corruption in politics and in her family…..Has she ever said ‘you can’t look in there!’ ?
If Sarah Palin knows the press doesn’t like her….how much time should she spend preparing for Couric and Gibson?
Governor Sarah Palin is a good choice for Vice President because of her motivation. Her motivation is God, Her Family, and America. She shows that she is committed to those ideals. The proof is that her opponents attack her at those points and she stands firm. Sarah Palin is sharp.
The Republicans have to spend MORE time battling Democrat and liberal policy. And LESS time cutting down Palin and other conservative policies. If you are doing the RIGHT thing and everyone else is wrong you are being Partisan! Or would you rather be a mule?

Some people are claiming to be Republican’s that are not Republicans at all. They are there for one reason, to sabotage the Republican party. The more they talk down the party the more they loose the confidence of the Republican party. The negative comments made about Sarah Palin by those in her own party are one’s that feel Palin is a Threat, Especially those that hold high positions with the Government. If Sarah Palin would have made it to the White House she would have had some people from both parties shaking in their shoes. She was definitely a threat because she was going to clean house…the White House! Those whom are screwing this Nation, positions
that have no purpose, were going to be axed! It is truly a disgrace that some people do not want an honest, 100% all American running this country.
People are recruted and paid by organizations to search out websites and blog negative comments
to mislead readers. Organizations such as ACORN, and those that are radical extremist in foreign countries work around the clock to mislead people on websites, some Americans have no clue what
they are reading may be coming from one that would sever your head off your shoulders. You can not trust our enemies!

The way the presidential race unfolded at the end should have been a sign that this turning on itself would be the party’s reaction to the loss. By the end of the campaign, Palin especially was on the front of the attack Obama strategy. That will always have the chance of coming off as mean-spirited. That will force a rift if you are not on the winning side: now that Republicans have to work with the new President-Elect, any name calling has to be set aside for political expediency. In effect, to have a realtionship with Obama, Palin must be set aside (if not put down) by the pragmatic Republican party. She was clearly used as the attack dog (all be it with lipstick) in a hard race, but now what use is the attack dog? Because she was not given the opportunity to focus on talking about specific changes in store for the US if elected, she now has nothing to add to the discussion. Even current interviews with Palin have her falling back on the “Who is Obama and his associates” stump speeches. She is a stragegy that is out of time.

Sarah Palin wasn’t making stuff up. She was speaking of some very important issues which weren’t and haven’t been addressed significantly. Attacks, yes they were! Just because you won’t look into them doesn’t keep them from being valid.
Why would you or anyone even comment on Sarah Palin. I thought she was gone!?
She isn’t gone and she will always be a target, because she is effective!
Steve…you can hope in one hand and crap in the other then see which one fills up first!

Guy,
Sara Palin was not effective. That is the point of all this. You may support her tactic of attacking - you may well be right that there were questions that needed to be raised and answered during the campaign, my point is that because it was Palin who took/was given that responsibility, she was doomed if it failed. If she had been allowed to run on issues, she could still talk issues. My point is the the Rebuplicans used her, didn’t get the shift in votes they hoped for, so now are burring her to make a realtionship to govern with the new president.
As I stated, Palin is not gone - Republicans cannot let her go - she has to be sacrificed as an olive branch to the president-elect. The more she sumps, the more she will be burried.
If she had run on true conservative change, her story would be different. Even in the face of loss, she would have remained relevent.

But she did run on conservative issues. She used Obama’s words against him, to illustrate conservative issues, like smaller government and using the natural resources we have to make America stronger. The proof of her effectiveness was the jump in the polls as she entered the race…then add the factor that she was brutalized in a way that would have destroyed Obama/Clinton and you have a force to be reckoned with.
She was sent out to attack Obama and then was reigned in before she started looking better than McCain. And it usually wasn’t soon enough!
She didn’t need to be on the winning team to be successful. Palin didn’t fail, because she hadn’t been let out of the cage! What everyone ignores is she was getting thing done before McCain came along. And she and conservatives as a whole don’t quit!
Palin was the ‘Flag Pin’ on McCains lapel. He needed to be seen as something other than a democrat to even be in the running. It was scarry watching McCain and hear him squeek in a conservative phrase here and there.
I don’t know if Palin will run again? She seems like she may, but there are other conservatives out there.
You can ignore these facts but that won’t help when the next election comes along!
