Although relatively young compared to my cohorts around the Wingnut lunch table, I consider myself hardened from two decades of campaigning for conservative Republican ideals. That’s why this video caught me off guard. It’s been a long time since I got goosebumps from a political message.
Maybe it will do the same for you.
Heat for All?
South Dakota is expected to get around $10 million in heating assistance this season. South Dakota’s state Social Services Secretary Deb Bowman says it won’t go as far this year, as last, since fuel prices have gone up.
So, she’s telling us, the program isn’t going to be enough. Why doesn’t it work?
Well, it’s telling these recipients [...]
Are We Supposed to be Embarrased of President George W. Bush?
I was talking to a fellow Republican and he was talking about McCain. I didn’t really bring it up but he said, “I don’t care how people see Bush…’ Then I said, ‘I don’t see that Bush made ANY bad decisions!’ Then at that time, he said ‘Yeah, What he did was make the BEST decisions, according [...]
Republicans are Recycling DNC Trash
Hillary Clinton?? No silly….America.
We know most liberals support desecrating the American flag as “protesting”, but not the WHOLE DNC! After the convention over a week ago, an estimated 12,000 American flags used at the convention were found in the garbage.
1. How are Democrats Patriotic?
2. What DO they recycle?
3. If they had TOO MANY. How do they show financial [...]
McCains Speech - Like Listening to an Old Guy Talk
Last night, I commented that McCain shouldn’t Smile after he makes a comment. He looks TOO creepy. He shouldn’t make unnecessary hand gestures, they don’t look natural. I thought he shouldn’t make a speech he wasn’t passionate about. But at the end of the speech I said, it was kinda like listening to my parents talk.
He went on and on [...]
Like Sarah Palin? How about Donating to Joel Dykstra!
Sarah Palin is giving the GOP some amazing energy. Inspiring many people to donate to the Party. In supporting the Republican Party, why not support someone pushing for the same reform, Joel Dykstra.
I’m voting for Joel because he has proven that he’s interested in your opinion and that you need to know what he’s done. He has [...]
Sarah Palin - Advocate for Children with Special Needs
Gov. Sarah Palin - “To the families of special-needs children all across this country, I have a message: For years, you sought to make America a more welcoming place for your sons and daughters. I pledge to you that if we are elected, you will have a friend and advocate in the White House.”
Here’s a link [...]
Windshield Tour - Johnson Unqualified
Rapid City/Sturgis, Madison, Yankton, Sioux Falls
No debate, Limited(to be nice) Appearances, Almost No Press… if talking to people and selling policy had nothing to do with Senator Tim Johnson’s job that would be one thing. But, that’s ALL the Senator’s job consists of. Maybe, just maybe, if he didn’t have a congenital brain issue - which means it’s very [...]
Everyone Has a Soft Spot for a Woman.
Everyone has a some woman figure in their life they are close to: Mother, wife, significant other, daughter, sister or friend. This is not always the case for men. Most people feel at ease when women are around and some even feel stronger. Men intimidate and dominate. Women have a lot to offer when they are being [...]
Practicing Some 1st Amendment Rights! Love.
I think it goes “My word shall not return to me in vain.”
What Love Really Is
Love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:10
Those of us who are aging boomers remember when the song first came out. It was a simple song, but so powerful, so absolute, so right. Or so we thought. The song [...]
