Oil, Coal, Natural Gas and Our Economy.

Posted By Guy Smylie | September 25, 2008

Commodities such as Oil, Coal and Natural Gas are worth something, Right?  These Riches belong to the citizens of the United States. So WHY are we still pushing Global Warming? We have a real economic crisis happening, now! Let’s do something to get out of it!

We need to DRILL, MINE, DRILL and REFINE. This would increase the worth of our dollar by lowering our costs for goods and services because fuel prices would be lower for everyone. It would build wealth by selling our resources to other countries. Then Americans would have more self-confidence which builds the economy.

But Congress would have to DO more than just let regulations expire and plan how to bring them back after the election. They need to put incentives for production by sharing revenues with citizens. Congress would have to permanently remove restrictions that prevent fuel production. Refineries need to be built. And separate blends should be produced at their OWN refinery! Congress MUST regulate LESS and THINK MORE!

Soooo if we use natural gas for everything else, what is it going to do to the price of heating our homes?? The price is almost out of sight for most of us now. Will someone please ask Pickens that question?

I kinda like using the heating oil for heating our homes. I wish Pickens would promote oil. I think he’s invested so much money into wind that he has to build it up before he dumps it on someone else.

Natural gas is very popular in Asia for car uses, from BMW to outboard motors. Gas is plentiful and cheap, but the problem is the gas stations controlled by big oil companies reluctant to expand LNG or CNG service, because they would lose more profits. Gas & oil is a limited natural resources that one of the day will be diminishing too. Wind, solar energies are renewable, and mostly free of contamination of our living environment. T.Boom Picken is dead right for using natural gas for present time and wind for future.

Wind and solar power sources are intermittent at best. Currently, they have had little success storing more energy than it takes to run the wind generators. Currently, the solar panels don’t produce enough energy to make them worth having. Look at Ed Bagley Jr.’s house; they don’t laugh at him because he’s not paying his electric bill!

Wind and solar is doing very well around the gobe, if not, you will hear loud noise coming from exiting wind farmer around the states. If you can afford it, if you have no choice (remote area, island), and wishing to make a diferent, and the area allowe you to catch wind or sun effeciently, cleaner renewable energy like wind and solar is a must for near future, so that oil and gas are used effectively for industrial, thus cheaper products.
