Mr. Oakes Goes to Washington
Hey Wingnuts,
Just wanted to let you all know that through the generosity of Americans for Prosperity Foundation, I will be attending the Defending the American Dream Summit in Washington, D.C., next weekend.
The summit will feature prominent speakers such as author Dinesh D’Souza, columnist George Will, ABC newsman John Stossel, Weekly Standard editor Fred Barnes, Americans for Tax Reform president Grover Norquist, and several current and former U.S. legislators. John McCain, who addressed the summit last year along with several other candidates, has also been invited to this year’s event.
I’ll be joining America’s foremost free-market voices, top experts on grassroots mobilization, and the nation’s largest gathering of grassroots leaders from across the state in a massive show of force for our shared belief in lower taxes and more limited government (I may or may not have stolen that verbatim from their website, but it’s a really good description of what’s we’re doing there).
I can’t promise live updates from the summit, but I’ll be sure to keep you all updated with the pertinent information presented. In the meantime, visit http://www.defendingthedream.org for more details about this event, and http://www.americansforprosperity.org/ for more details about this amazing group of individuals.

Gid,
Use the word ‘Deregulation’ ALOT! Scream it, now and then, like you have Tourette’s Syndrome. Maybe not, but the RiNO’s need some schooling!
God be with you. And help get this bailout…oh I’m sorry, ‘Rescue’ bill cleaned out if you can. Go up to Senator John Thune and kick him in the seat!
