Conservative bloggers unite in Sioux Falls
“The weather is here, wish you were beautiful!”
Just thought I’d drop a note from beautiful Sioux Falls, where a few of us have gathered to discuss ways to increase common sense conservative ideals in new media, especially through blogs such as this one.
The event is being sponsored by the Sam Adams Alliance, an organization dedicated to educating and informing citizens about the important political issues necessary to maintaining a free society, including government accountability, government transparency, property rights protection, fiscal responsibility, free speech, and citizen initiative and referendum rights (ya, I stole that from their About Us page).
In short, these guys are awesome. Our hosts are Ken Marrero and Emily Zanotti, both of whom you may recognize from their works in and outside the conservative blogosphere.
This conference promises to be a great time for all involved. I’m sure we all hope to take what is learned here tomorrow and apply it where it is most useful (wherever that may be).
By the way… does anyone care to see signs of the most considerate hippie in Sioux Falls? On our way through a crowded parking lot to a delicious supper (graciously provided by Ken and Emily), we all shared a good chuckle over this:

Watch it Gid! That looks like the getaway vehicle of the liberal agent sent to infiltrate and eaves drop on your blogger confab. We’ve seen these green vehicles appear in the parking lot of the Eagles at lunch time from time to time. Beware the green vehicle!

That brought up images of Spy vs. Spy in my mind. Which, I suppose, is fairly representative of politics. However, cutting pins out from under the other spy is something both sides must do to prevent their opponents from taking the upper hand.
But I’ll certainly be watching for scooters at the Eagles Lodge from now on! After all, eagles fly… weasels drive scooters.

Thanks, for the invite!
Even though, I couldn’t get away.
I saw the luxury scooter model of at the local grocery store(ya know, the two seater.) And I just about did a post on the windfall profits of BIG Scooter.
